Catalyst is an attempt at increasing the economy of print while retaining optimal legibility through type design. This type family does so through subtle and intentional OpenType features, as well as referencing successful past attempts throughout history.

Nazare Exuberant is the Poster version of Nazare. This version makes the vintage design more elegant and luxurious. It has super high contrast and the semi-serifs were turned into opulent serifs. Some shapes were redesigned by adding a slight calligraphic feel, making it even more vibrant. This way this design got more organic, more human, more serious, more trustworthy and more luxurious. This is the design for your posters, headlines and actually anything where the letters have a big point size. If you need a more text suitable version you can always use the original Nazare. Another feature is the insertion of some Opentype features: Ligatures were added as well as old style numbers. With its six weights you will have plenty of room for many variations. From the Regular that focus more on elegance to the Heavy that focus more on the lavishness. The Linotype Devanagari™ typeface extends the original 1977 Matthew Carter designs that were subsequently updated for in 1983 for PostScript® image setters, under the art direction of Fiona Ross and Georgie Surman. The new fonts now contain all the Devanagari glyphs specified in Unicode for OpenType® output. Inspired by the late 19th and early 20th century Nirnaya Sagar designs, Linotype Devanagari is considered a traditional text face. Now available in five weights and suitable for a wide variety of print and digital uses, the design’s open counters ensure high levels of legibility at small sizes and at modest resolution. A compact design, Linotype Devanagari also provides economy of space where textual real estate is at a premium. In addition, its large character set enables the setting of Hindi, Marathi, Nepali and is suitable for Sanskrit passages.

Anko is a mix of Old Style Roman Serif styles. The glyphs are formed in extend width, smooth strokes, moderate stem contrast and soft edges to pursue clarity, quick recognizable text and warm personality. The italics style is 8 degree low slanted with redrawned lowercase which shown in more organic and flowy forms. Anko contains 8 weights with more than 450 glyphs that support extended latin language and opentype features such as standard and discretionary ligature and a variation of numeral figures.
